Creating Manual Authorizations Roles SAP R3

Designing roles in SAP R/3 is complex task. I have discussed the process of creating authorization roles in SAP inone of my earlier posts here. When a SAP programmer is creating roles, values are required to be added to a field to restrict authorizations based on values. Sometimes, the profile generator in SAP will restrict the programmer to add such value. The main reason for this is the PFCG profile generator is designed to accept only a certain set of values in a field. PFCG does not accept any other value.

This presents a unique problem in creating authorizations in SAP R3. In such cases one can create an authorization manually in a role. SAP admins need to create an authorization manually using the transaction code SU03, and then create a simple profile manually using the transaction code SU02. Once this is done, a manual authorization can be added to a role. For this, one can use the profile generator transaction code which is PFCG.
