Information Security Glossary - Mocking Bird

Mocking Bird is a special type of virus program. The Mocking Bird Trojan intercepts communications between users and hosts normally login communications and provides system like responses to users. In this process, the mocking bird software saves the username and passwords provided by the user. This is then used to get unauthorized access to the system.
